The side of a barrel of aging Kentucky bourbon photographed at Heaven Hills in Bardstown, Kentucky.
Several characteristics distinguish bourbon from other liquors — the water in bourbon must be purified over limestone, over half of the mash mixture must be corn, the barrels used for aging must be made of white oak, charred on the inside (what gives bourbon both its distinct color and flavor), and it must be made in the United States. Nowhere else in the world can you distill bourbon, and the best comes from Kentucky of course!

Believe it or not, all frogs are toads, but not all toads are frogs. There are a couple quick ways to distinguish between the two: 1) Toads have dry, warty skin, whereas frogs have moist and generally smooth skin. 2) The tips of a frog's toes are balled, whereas those on a toad are not; these are called digital discs. We have plenty of both here so expect to see more.
